On 10 April, QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), an international higher education research institution, released the 14th edition of QS World University Rankings by Subject.

Tsinghua University had 42 projects shortlisted, an increase of two from the previous year, and stood out with four projects among the global Top 10. Among them, Tsinghua University's Civil and Structural Engineering discipline was ranked No. 6 in the world, up five places from last year.
